SAN TAN VALLEY—Michael “Big Mike” Hernandez, entrepreneur and conservative LD16 State Senate candidate, today announced an endorsement from the Pinal County Deputies Association, which represents the employees of the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office. This marks the third association of first responders to support Hernandez, who also has earned endorsements from the Arizona Police Association and the Professional Fire Fighters of Arizona, and establishes the first-time candidate as law enforcement’s choice in this race.

“When I speak to voters in my district, I continue to hear their concerns when it comes to border security and the importance of supporting our law enforcement agencies,” said Hernandez. “I’ve spent time seeing the amazing work the good men and women of the PCDA perform every day, and I am truly honored to have their support. I look forward to partnering with them and working at the State Capitol to invest resources into cracking down on crime, limit the flow of drugs across our border and keep our neighborhoods safe.”

Hernandez is the only candidate in the LD16 State Senate Republican primary to have earned the support of law enforcement groups.

Hernandez, a resident of San Tan Valley, is a strong conservative focused on public safety, securing the state’s southern border, protecting the 2nd Amendment rights of Arizonans and reducing the size and scope of state government. Legislative District 16 covers parts of Mesa, Apache Junction, San Tan Valley, Gold Canyon and Queen Creek.
